What To Expect

Making the initial decision to obtain legal representation is often the hardest step to take.

First Steps
Initially, we encourage you to contact our offices by telephone, email, or through our website by clicking here.  Please provide us with contact information, and any special instructions regarding contacting you (times, contact numbers, if we may leave a message, etc.).
 
We then offer an initial consultation over the telephone, or in person.  We will need to obtain information about your case, and the issues that caused you to seek legal representation or mediation.  If your issues are ones for which we can offer guidance and legal representation, a meeting in our Glendale or Valencia offices will be arranged.
 
Office Meeting
When you meet with our attorneys and paralegals, you will need to be prepared to discuss your issues fully, and often times bringing supporting documents will greatly assist us in evaluating your situation as quickly as possible.  Depending on your situation, different types of documents may be needed, including:

• Financial Documents - Tax records, paystubs, retirement account statements, investment account statements, asset statements, life insurance, or annuity documents.
  
• Debt Statements - Credit Card Statements, Loan Documents, Auto Loans, Lines of Credit, Home Equity Loans,
  
• Business Accounting
  
• Legal Documents - Pre-nuptial Agreements, Existing Support, Custody, Dissolution, or other Court Orders
  
• Property Descriptions - Properties owned, purchase dates
  
• Information regarding family members involved, if any
